Jim is a retired fixed Income executive with experience in trading and sales, research, and portfolio structuring. He started his career at Salomon Brothers & Hutzler in 1967, after a tour in the US Army. He started trading in 1973, as the Fixed Income markets exploded and traded Corporate bonds  He moved to First Boston Corporation in 1977, where he added  US Agency securities, and  Mortgage securities to his skill sets, as well as New Issue distribution, including the first issue of Mortgage CMO products. 

Jim then moved to the sell side, covering major Institutional Investors, including Insurance companies, Hedge Funds, and money managers for all Fixed Income products. He held Series 7, 63, and 24 registrations until his retirement in 2014
